Arrowsmith, Sinclair Lewis
This is a GREAT book. The story of a young man in the early 1900s and his struggle for Science and Truth. In Time, Love, Memory Weiner discusses what a profound impact this book had on Seymour Benzer - and then how Benzer's life paralleled the story. Well worth the read.
