Meeting One - Possession
We first met on Thursday, 13 August, 1998. Julianne, Carrie, Mo,
Joseph, meriko, Russell, and James were in attendence.We discussed A.S. Byatt's
Possession.
We talked about the various and layered meanings of the
word 'possession', about how much hold present scholars or folks have on the past,
& romance & intelligence in general. (And other stuff, but if
you missed it, you missed it.. *wink*)
