Lovely time in Berkeley with my East Bay folks tonight!
First a browse through the Wooden Duck.
Then, rescue by jD. (Needed 3 more inches in the MINI to fit the coffee table. oops.)
A drink outside at the Mallard with jD & Logan. (Neat bar!)
To Heidi's, where we finally met Richter.
To Cesar, for almost-one-of-everything at Cesar with Heidi and Carol.
To the abattoir to fetch a banshee, and proceeded to The Albatross. (Another neat bar! Logan, we'll go with you too, promise. I couldn't stomach any popcorn after dinner.)
Then home again home again, jiggity jig.
(And we get a jD for brunch, when he delivers the coffee table. Rad!)
The Albatross! I've not been to the Bird in years. I'm glad they still have the popcorn.
Back when I visited there with some regularity, the bartenders were very good about tossing anyone making a scene. I do hope that's still part of the scene there.
