The world seems to be presenting me with broken (but not destroyed) things these days. The string on the Totoro fob I carry every day snapped last night. I had a package arrive at work pretty mangled, proudly displaying a sticker reading "Received in bad condition at Cupertino, CA." (The contents themselves were just fine.) The yarn on my current project snapped on me once or twice. (I was able to repair the breaks with no discernable effect on the project.) Russell's not feeling great. (But he's not really sick, either.)
I'm really, really, really trying not to read too much into this.

Usually, I am not drawn to things astrological, but I have begun, in the last few years, to have a bit of interest in the "Mercury in Retrograde" theory, as so often when the world seems to be FUCKED with lots of random bad things happening all at once, it turns out to be that time.
And, it started on March 20th, and will continue until April 12th. If you believe in that at all :)
The general advice is to just be a little more careful and cautious and aware.
Here's a random page I found:
Addendum: I think of this whole M in R in the same way that I think about how the phases of the moon affect so many things (tides, women's cycles, crazy people, etc...) And less about the whole "Libras are like this, Aries are like that" realm.
