I am tired, but I am a strong girl.
Even when I am hurting, and my lip wobbles against the coffee cup, I am a strong girl.
This, this is part and parcel of who I am.

Today, I was strong, even when I was not-so-strong.
And I made it through.

And tomorrow, tomorrow will be hard.
On so many fronts.
And I will fly to LA.
And I will be strong.

And I will offer what I can to her parents, and to Michelle, and to Nick.
And I will be strong.
Even as I am human, and fragile, and emotional.
But still strong.

And then I will come home.
And I will fall into his arms.
And I will let him be strong, for a while.

(I'm pretty sure you'd approve, A.)

Our tickets for the new SF Symphony season arrived this week. Here's what's on our list. As always: please join us! Grab a ticket or two, give us a heads up, and we'll start with cocktails and snacks at Citizen Cake, watch the city from the balcony with champagne and irish coffee at intermission, and end the evening with a late light dinner. Ask Heidi - it's a lovely way to spend an evening. Promise.
