Hummus
1 can (15 oz) Garbanzos
1/3 cup tahini
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2-4 cloves garlic cut in thirds
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt
Garnishes: Olive oil or chopped parsley
Drain garbanzos, reserving liquid.
Put garbanzos into a blender or food processor. Add tahini, lemon
juice, garlic, cumin, and 1/8th cup of the garbanzo liquid.
Whirl, adding more garbanzo liquid as needed to bring it to the
desired consistency.
Season to taste with salt. Garnish if desired.
