Sweet Cream Base

 

for 1 quart of ice cream:
2 eggs (use fresh ones!)
3/4 cup sugar
3 cups half-and-half

 

Add your flavorings to this! A little vanilla will make this into a tasty vanilla ice cream. If your flavorings are liquid (i.e., booze or juice), substitute heavy cream for some of the half and half or your ice cream won’t seem creamy enough.
