white button mushrooms
a few tablespoons of butter
thyme & marjoram
Wash your mushrooms. Remove stems if appropriate. Sautee whole
in a saucepan with thyme, marjoram, and butter until well browned.
Fill saucepan with red wine until mushrooms are covered (you
can also use half wine and half stock).
Simmer the mushrooms on low theres only a tablespoon of liquid
or so left. Serve!
