Ceremony
The ceremony will be held outside at the Lawrence Hall of Science, on the Plaza.
Please plan to arrive at 6:30. LHS is on top of a hill in Berkeley, overlooking the water.
Summer in Berkeley is warm, but it could conceivably be breezy - please dress accordingly.

Reception
The reception will move inside; we will have full access to the inside of the museum. We are planning a cocktail reception, dancing, a cake, and a hall full of great scientific conversation pieces. The party will end at midnight. If you have some sort of special dietary restriction that won't be covered by having basic vegetarian food around, please let us know. If you plan to drink, please plan to carpool!

Attire
Several folks have asked what might be considered 'proper attire' for our wedding. Not the shortest answer in the book, but the best we can come up with is this:
If you wear something in the range of 'comfortable for a nice/fancy restaurant' to 'fancy cocktail party clothes', and stay away of 'white tie', you should fit right in. Really, we want you to be comfortable.

Accomodations & Dining
We recommend that folks stay at the Berkeley Marina Radisson. We have reserved a block of rooms for 24 and 25 August at a discount price. Make sure you get one of these - you will need to call the BMR directly. Their number is 800-243-0625. Make sure to tell them that you are part of the wedding party for Blink and Bornschlegel. (Although they did put Blink first, as it's easier to spell! Just using Blink should get you to our block of rooms.) You must book by 1 August 2001 in order to recieve our special rate. They have a 24-hour no-penalty cancellation party, so reserve early!

We do enjoy eating out; we'd like to share our favorites with you.
